The History Committee was established to preserve Lyme’s historic collection of artifacts and photographs. In cooperation with the non-profit private Lyme Historians Inc., they operate a museum in the restored 1839 Academy Building at 183 Dorchester Road in Lyme Center. The museum is open to the public on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00 or by appointment.
