BOARD OF SELECTMEN
Final - Minutes
December 7, 2005
Present: Pete Bleyler, Dick Jones, Judy Brotman, Selectmen, Carole Bont, Bill LaBombard, Fred Stearns.
The meeting opened at 8:00 am by Chairman Pete Bleyler.
1) The Selectmen met with Bill LaBombard and Fred Stearns to discuss several highway issues, including the possible re-use of the “old highway shed” as a salt shed and/or for storage of the plows, chipper, rake, snow blower, and other miscellaneous equipment.
2) The Selectmen approved the manifest.
3) The Selectmen approved the minutes of November 30th as amended.
4) The Selectmen approved the continued use of the Academy Building for yoga classes.
5) The Selectmen approved Crossroads Academy’s request to use the Common for parking for December 19th.
6) The Selectmen approved the Septage agreement with Hanover.
7) The Selectmen approved the land use change tax for D & E Parish, Map 408, Lot 61.2.
8) The Selectmen approved the draft of the revised Personnel Policy, and asked Carole to forward it to the staff for their review and comments. The Selectmen will review the comments at the December 14th Board meeting.
9) The Selectmen discussed the final issues with the budget proposal, and voted on the final budget to be presented to the Budget Committee on a motion by Pete Bleyler and seconded by Judy Brotman. The motion passed on a 2/1 vote with Dick Jones opposed.
