  • Mike, Kevin and Pauline came in to discuss Lyme’s planning in response to the current swine flu outbreak.  Lyme has a health emergency plan, which has been in effect for several years, and we are a part of a regional plan that covers several towns and the city of Lebanon.  After a review and discussion of the plans, it was agreed that any required actions were covered and any local response would be in accordance with directives and guidance from the NH Department of Public Health.
  • The following administrative matters were discussed and actions taken:
  • The minutes of April 23rd were approved as submitted.

  • The transfer station supervisor’s request for leave was approved.
  • The Board agreed to report the Health Officer’s investigation of a trash dumping complaint to the State DES for appropriate enforcement follow up.
  • The police department’s move into the new town offices this week was discussed.
  • At 9:03 Dick moved and Charles seconded a motion to go into non-public session under authority of RSA 91-A:3 II(c) “matters which, if discussed in public, would likely affect adversely the reputation of any person” to discuss and act upon an application for a hardship abatement. The motion carried unanimously.  The Board returned to public session at 9:14 having voted by unanimous roll call vote not to make the minutes of the non-public session available to the public.
  • The meeting adjourned at 9:15.
