Minutes for May 8, 2008
1. The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen convened at 8:00 AM with the following attending all or part of the meeting: Charles Ragan (member), Dick Jones (member), Dina Cutting (bookkeeper/secretary) and Carole Bont (administrative assistant).
2. Administrative matters:
a. The approved minutes of May 1st were amended to correct the amount in paragraph 8c from $1,044.13 to $1,064.13 and paragraph 9d from $24.30 to $48.60.
b. The Public and Non-Public Session minutes of May 2nd were reviewed and approved.
c. The manifest was reviewed and approved.
d. The below listed “Intent to Cut” applications were reviewed and approved:
i. Brenda Gallagher map 411 lot 1
ii. Edward C. Perkins Trust map 409 lot 57
e. A 2007 tax abatement of $500.00 plus interest was approved for George Hano to correct an administrative error.
f. The report to New Hampshire the Beautiful on this year’s Green-Up Day was reviewed and approved.
g. The expenditure of $4,358.70 (from the “Emergency Major Equipment Repair Fund”) to Yankee Truck for repairs to the GMC 1-ton dump truck was reviewed and approved.
3. The meeting adjourned at 8:15.
