“Recreation Areas By-Law” Public Hearing
May 29, 2008
1. At 8:00 Simon opened the public hearing on the proposed amendment to the “Recreation Areas By-Law” with the following attending the hearing: Simon Car, Charles Ragan, Dick Jones and Dina Cutting.
2. Dick suggested that the sections prohibiting all domestic animals be revised to permit “seeing eye dogs”. After a short discussion it was agreed to change the draft to permit all disability assistance dogs. Dick moved and Simon seconded a motion to adopt the revised by-law with this change from the draft. The motion carried unanimously.
3. The Board returned to its regular meeting at approximately 8:10.
