Federal Government Sites:

The Internal Revenue Service is the nation's tax collection agency. Its web site provides extensive information on Federal income and other taxes including tax forms.

The Medicare web site provides extensive information for persons eligible for Medicare benefits and includes information on providers of medical services.

The Social Security Administration’s web site provides extensive information on social security benefits and how to apply for them.

State, County and Other Government Sites:

The State of New Hampshire's web site provides links to all state agencies and includes state laws and regulations.

The Grafton County Commissioners' Office. County governments provide services which work best when designed to meet local needs which are too expensive or too difficult for individual towns themselves to provide.

The Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission is a regional planning commission whose purpose is to promote coordinated development of its 30-town area, which includes Lyme, through the provision of technical planning assistance to member communities and the preparation of comprehensive plans and studies for the Region.

The Grafton County Economic Development Corporation is a regional economic development corporation serving the 39 communities located within Grafton County.  By maintaining contact and communication with a wide variety of public and private partners we are well to act as a catalyst for change in Grafton County.

The Grafton County Senior Citizens Council works to make sure that older adults in our community have access to programs and services that support and enhance their health, well being, dignity and independence.


Not For Profit Organization Sites:

Community Care of Lyme.  To build on Lyme’s heritage as a warm, welcoming and service-oriented community, by building partnerships, embracing new ideas, and designing systems that improve our individual and collective sense of wellbeing, as we help transform health and healthcare in our town and beyond.

The Utility Club: The Utility Club of Lyme (TUC) is a non-profit, charitable, educational and non-sectarian organization founded in 1914. Our mission is to offer financial support in the form of grants primarily to local or Upper Valley organizations serving the needs of Lyme residents

TUC engages their members and the community in speakers of interest, social outings, museum trips in an atmosphere of friendship and companionship.

CASA NH Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to serve as advocates for abused           and neglected children in the New Hampshire court system. As part of the national nonprofit organization National CASA (NCASAA), we envision a world in         which all children are safe, nurtured and living in permanent homes.

Connecticut River Joint Commissions  includes New Hampshire's Connecticut River Valley Resource Commission and Vermont's Connecticut River Watershed Advisory Commission which cooperate with each other to preserve and protect the resources of the Connecticut River Valley and to guide its growth and development. Both Commissions are advisory and have no regulatory powers.

The Connecticut River Byway Council was formed in 1999 to balance the promotion, preservation, enjoyment and stewardship of the Connecticut River Valley. In that year, the States of Vermont and New Hampshire gave official stamp to years of planning by designating a bi-state route for the new Connecticut River Scenic Byway along New England's largest river.

Headrest offers clinically managed residential detoxification/specialty transitional shelter for adults, outpatient substance abuse counseling for adults and teens, and a 24-hour crisis intervention/suicide prevention and referral hotline.

The purpose of the Lyme Foundation is to maintain and enhance the life we enjoy here in Lyme by furthering programs in the arts, education, public affairs, community development, historic resources, the environment, recreation and social services. To that end, throughout the year the Lyme Foundation entertains proposals submitted by applicants seeking support for efforts to improve our collective quality of life.

The Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of VT and NH provides a comprehensive array of home health, hospice and community-based services at to improve the health and well-being of the individual, the family and the community.

West Central Behavioral Health is a community based behavioral healthcare organization that provides a full range of outpatient, residential, and consultative services for individuals, families and businesses

The Women's Information Service (WISE) provides services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, primarily women and Children

The Valley News is the local daily newspaper serving Lyme and the Upper Valley region.
