VACANCY ON BUDGET COMMITTEE TO BE FILLED
Town of Lyme Budget Committee will meet on Wednesday evening, September 28th, 2005, at 7:00PM in the Lyme Center Academy Building, located on the Dorchester Road in Lyme Center.
Agenda Items:
1. Election of Chair
2. Resignation of Earl Strout as Budget Committee member
3. Appointment of subcommittee to interview potential appointees
4. Schedule for meetings and deadlines
5. Discussion of anticipated issues in current budget cycle
6. Appointment of potential subcommittees -- e.g. capital expenditure, employee compensation & benefits, school funding
VACANCY ON THE BUDGET COMMITTEE
The Budget Committee seeks to fill a vacancy created by the recent resignation of one member. Applicants need not have particular experience in financial or budgeting matters, just an interest in the town and its governance. The Budget Committee will appoint an individual to fill the vacancy until the next Town Meeting.
