The Lyme School Board seeks a citizen of Lyme to serve on the School Board to complete the remaining two years of a member who has resigned as a result of a family relocation out-of-state.
We seek candidates with a strong commitment to the Lyme School and public education generally. Meetings occur monthly, with two meetings scheduled in December and additional meetings required for committee assignments. The ideal candidate will also have strong financial and budgeting skills.
To be considered, please submit your name, resume, and a brief statement of interest (less than 250 words) to Peter Glenshaw, Chair of the Lyme School Board, either by email (pglenshaw@earthlink.net) or to by mail (SAU 76, One Lyme Common, Lyme, NH 03768). The deadline for receipt of applications is Sunday, July 1st. All candidates will be asked to meet with a special committee of the Board charged with nominating a new candidate for the Board. Our hope is to appoint a new member in time for our August 2007 meeting
