Preschoolers thru grade 8: It isn't too late to participate in the library summer reading BINGO and win prizes.
Here's how it works:
The bingo card has 9 or 16 squares. Each square has an activity to be done. These activities include reading books, listening to books, using books to make things or learn things, visiting other libraries, etc.
For each square completed, there is a sticker; for each row completed there is a raffle ticket, for 3 rows completed there is a fancy bookmark or decals, for completing the whole card there are puzzles! AND then there is the raffle for Ben & Jerry Sundaes, Sony Theater movie tickets, t-shirts and more. The finale is Tuesday, August 28th just before the PTO's Ice Cream Social.
Remember there is an additional reading assignment for children in each grade at the Lyme School. We have the forms or instructions, if you have lost them. Complete this school assignment and earn a wild card to be used for any square in the library's BINGO.
