Town of Lyme, NH - Flotation raft in Post Pond

A biology class will be anchoring a flotation raft from which to take water samples for testing in Post Pond. The testing will start next week and will last for about ten days. The Lyme Board of Selectmen has given special permission to the class to leave two or three boats down by the boat launch stacked and locked together so members of the class can go back and forth to gather the data. The boats would be removed when the exercise is over during the week of October 8^th. We have given this class permission for many years in the past to do this. However, they have not done any testing for a few years.
