Notice of Public Hearing on
PROPOSED BOND ISSUE
FOR PROPOSED TOWN OFFICES
Board of Selectmen’s Meeting
Per NH RSA 33:8-a, the Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on two proposed bonds to finance the following:
The first bond warrant article will be to finance the following:
1. Purchase of property at 1 High Street, Lyme, NH, presently owned by Ray G. Clark and Christina NL Clark (Lyme Tax Map 201, Lot 120);
2. Design, construction and equipping of new municipal offices. One of the pre-existing buildings will be partially renovated and will incorporate a substantial addition.
The first bond proposed will be in the amount of approximately $875,000.
The second bond article will be to finance the following:
1. If and only if the first bond article passes, then consider whether to add an additional $75,000 (approximately) to the first bond to design, construct and equip additional space to add to the new municipal offices to house the Lyme Police Department at 1 High Street, Lyme, NH, presently owned by Ray G. Clark and Christina NL Clark (Lyme Tax Map 201, Lot 120).
The second bond proposed will be in the amount of approximately $75,000.
After the public hearing the Board of Selectmen will vote to either recommend or not recommend these two proposed warrant articles.
