Notice of Public Hearing on Lyme Emergency Management Ordinance
Lyme Selectmen will hold a public hearing on proposed Emergency Management Ordinance. There is primary authority for local governments to act in emergencies, however, authority is conditional & requires local govt to adopt an emergency management plan & create an emergency management organization so both plan & organization can be utilized effectively to address emergencies that arise. Copies of the proposed emergency management ordinance can be seen in the Selectmen’s Office.
