Looking for baseball & softball umpires for the spring season.
Little League prohibits us from paying umps, but i know of number of Lyme moms and dads whose children have been heavily involved with baseball who must be missing it terribly since their children have grown up (mike/paul/... to name a couple) who's help would be greatly appreciated! Some of you are actually retired and need to get out more, so here's your opportunity!!!
Please let me know if you can help, not a large commitment, but a few games would be great!
Softball umps, on the other hand, do get paid. Lyme now sports 2 girl teams and the program is growing so I would ask that anyone interested please let me know. You don't have to be an expert, we'll train you and this is not a "win at all cost" atmosphere by any stretch so any pressure you would feel would be self imposed. It would be great to see some moms out there well. Any HS students are welcome and of course the dad's and/or neighbors simply willing to help out and earn a little money on the side.
