Lebanon, NH Solid Waste Permits

Beginning September 1, 2021, all Lyme residents can directly utilize the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility but are required to obtain a permit. Residential permits can be obtained by applying for free using our online application – please see the link below. Solid Waste Permits do not replace punch cards.

How to apply.

Lyme residents may only apply online right now. Proof of residency is required when applying. Accepted forms of proof of residency include a most recent tax bill, vehicle registration, driver’s license, non-driver/state-issued photo identification card, utility bill, or lease agreement. When completing the online application, you will need to upload a copy of whatever you are using for proof of residency, so please have it available before beginning the form.

o  Apply Online (delayed issuance/no fee) - complete the online application form which also allows you to attach your proof of residency. An authorized agent of the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility will then review your application and, if approved, you will receive your permit by email within three working days.

Permit fees.

There is no fee to apply for a permit online. Solid Waste Permits do not replace punch cards. You will still need to purchase punch cards as you always have and use them as your form of payment at the Solid Waste Facility.

How it works.

Bring your permit with you when you visit the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility. When you arrive at the Solid Waste Facility, show your permit to the attendant at the scale house. You can present your permit on paper or show it on your digital device. The attendant will scan your permit and will let you know how many punches are required for the amount of trash you are disposing of.
