We are writing to you today to provide further context and clarification regarding the notice sent about the preliminary numbers for the revaluation Avitar is performing.
We were given a copy of a template letter that Avitar planned to send out. That letter included the estimated 59% increase figure. However, the official letters Avitar sent to residents noted a 73% increase. Unknown to us the first notice had a clerical mistake. The actual increase in the preliminary revaluation is 73%.
We apologize for the confusion and hope this clarifies the situation. We encourage you to call Avitar with any of your questions concerning the revaluation.
