Lyme Highway Department:
Full time position
Primary duties: Responsible for operating heavy equipment and other miscellaneous equipment. Requires valid Class B CDL license (Class A CDL license a plus, not mandatory), air brake certificate and you must have the ability to drive a manual transmission. Must pass DOT testing, physical and background check. Salary range depending on experience. Required to work over-time when weather demands. This employee is also responsible for coverage at the Town Transfer/recycling center one Sunday per month and other related duties as assigned by the Road Agent. TOWN OF LYME:
Deputy Town Clerk
The Town of Lyme is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Town Clerk. This position will require working at least two 7.5-hour days per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (7:45am – 3:15pm), all town and state elections, and occasional additional hours as needed. Work hours will be approximately15 to 20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by higher education or relevant work experience in business, customer service, or financial transactions; and the ability to master motor vehicle registration software applications. We seek someone who is detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a strong communicator with interpersonal prowess.
