Recreation Director:

Part- time salaried position. The Recreation Director is responsible for designing and managing sports programs tailored to a wide span of age groups for the citizens of Lyme, NH. This role includes recruiting volunteer coaching staff, coordinating game and event schedules, and maintaining facilities and equipment. Additionally, the director engages with parents, participants, and community stakeholders to promote the programs and ensure they align with the organization’s goals and values. Monitoring program performance and using data to drive continuous improvement are also key responsibilities of this position.  A proven track record of excellent communication skills, the ability to problem solve and work with the public in the interest of the recreation programs are highly valued. Lyme Highway Department:

Full time position

Primary duties: Responsible for operating heavy equipment and other miscellaneous equipment. Requires valid Class B CDL license (Class A CDL license a plus, not mandatory), air brake certificate and you must have the ability to drive a manual transmission. Must pass DOT testing, physical and background check. Salary range depending on experience. Required to work over-time when weather demands. This employee is also responsible for coverage at the Town Transfer/recycling center one Sunday per month and other related duties as assigned by the Road Agent. The Town of Lyme is looking for lifeguards for the 2026 Summer Season.
