Absentee Ballots for September 8, 2026 NH Primary

Absentee ballots for the September 8, 2026 New Hampshire Primary are now available!
Those who are qualified* to vote via absentee will need to complete and submit an absentee ballot application, which you can find on our website, in our office, or by requesting an application via email/USPS. In order to obtain an absentee ballot, your application must be complete and have a wet signature. Electronic signatures are not permitted. All voters will need to present proof of identity^ to obtain an absentee ballot.
Ballots will need to be returned (either by mail or by delivery agent) to the Town Clerk’s Office by 5 pm on September 8, 2026. If you yourself are returning your absentee ballot in person you must do so by 5 pm on the Monday prior to the election. 12 pm on Monday, September 7, 2026 is the deadline to request an absentee ballot be sent by mail. All subsequent requests must be made in person.
Our office will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day) during our regular hours but OPEN from 3-5 pm to receive any last minute absentee ballot requests/returns.

There are three ways to do this, you can decide which you prefer: 1. Provide a copy of photo identification 2. Personally present photo identification 3. Have your signature on the application notarized.
