It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for…it’s time(time, time, time)…to announce(ounce, ounce, ounce)…the winner of Lyme’s annual dog raffle, Timber’s Top Shelf.

Drum roll please ………

Congratulations to Mo Chandler for winning the raffle this year!!!! Mo’s going home with plenty of great stuff for her dogs from our generous friends over at West Lebanon Feed and Supply. Treats galore, cool toys, and an either terrifying or cute stuffed creature who may or may not be of Earthly origin, depending on the angle from which you look at this thing.

Folks, if you decide that next year you want to take home the goods just like Mo, make sure you register your dog before the deadline of April 30, and you’ll automatically be entered into the raffle. Some sources are even saying that the goodies in our dog raffle here in little ol’ Lyme rival both the Oscars gift bags and the prizes they’d stick under the audience members’ seats on the Oprah Winfrey Show. (Okay, it’s me, I’m the source. No one else is saying this…YET.

As a side note, if you haven’t registered your dog yet, you have until the end of this month to do so without incurring any late fees. We’ll need to have current rabies info on file in order to issue a dog license.
