Supervisors of the Checklist
The Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting on June 2, 2026 from 7 pm to 7:30 pm at the Town Offices. June 2 is the last day to change party affiliation before the state primary election for those already on the checklist. Additions and corrections to the checklist may be made at this time. Please note that if you are not currently registered to vote in Lyme you still have the opportunity to do so. For those looking for information on documents required to register to vote, please see the Secretary of State’s website here.
Please be advised that on May 22, 2026 the Supervisors of the Checklist will be mailing out the annual verification of the checklist letters to voters who have not voted in any election in the past 5 years and who have not registered since the 2024 general election. Per RSA 654:39, these voters are slated for removal from the checklist. The letters will contain directions for how to re-register for those who still live in Lyme and wish to be put back on the checklist. Voters will not be removed until at least 30 days after the May 22, 2026 session.
The Supervisors will also be meeting on August 5, 2026 from 6 pm to 6:30 pm at the Town Offices. They will be accepting additions and corrections to the checklist, excluding party affiliation changes for voters already on the checklist.
We can also accept voter registrations here in our office. If you have any questions regarding the voting process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Filing Period for State Election
June 3 - 12 marks the filing period for candidates for the 2026 state election. All those seeking to declare candidacy on the last day of the filing period must do so in person. Our office will be open from 3 pm to 5 pm to accommodate these filings.
