Trail Work

The Upper Valley Trails Alliance's (UVTA) High School Trails Corps has completed the first of several works it is executing this summer for the Conservation Commission. It is a stream crossing they put in on the Western Town Forest Trail 100 plus yards west of Mud Turtle Pond Road. A photo of their handiwork can be found on the Conservation Commission's FaceBook page:

This coming week, they will be installing two new bog bridges to cross a perpetually wet area on the Town Forest's Beaver Pond Trail.

Maps of both these and other trails on Town properties can be accessed by going to the Town of Lyme's web site and clicking on the Conservation Commission's page.
