Lebanon Landfill Update

There are going to be some changes coming to the Lebanon Landfill.  On August 7, 2023 the City will be offering 15 & 30 gallon customized purple trash bags.  Locations will be announced where these bags will be sold.   

 

For all Non-Lebanon Residents.  Punch cards will ONLY be able to be used until December 31, 2023.  Beginning January 1, 2024, non-Lebanon residents who bring waste directly to the landfill will be required to dispose of bagged waste in customized purple trash bags, and to pay for other forms of waste via credit card.

Beginning January 1, 2024, credit cards will be the required form of payment to dispose of all non-bagged itemized or scale-weighed bulky waste.  Residential loads will no longer be estimated for weight and will be required to be weighed by use of the scales.

Residential users of ALL communities will be required to have an updated permit issued through the new online platform.  Applications for updated permits will be open when the new software is launched (date to be announced) but will not be effective until January 1, 2024.  ALL USERS are asked to apply for their permit as soon as the application becomes available.
