Transfer Station Closings and Safety

Just wanted to let everyone know that if the Transfer Station needs to close on short notice we will make that announcement on listserv ASAP as long as we have the internet to do so.  Otherwise we try to give plenty of prior notice before closing the facility.  

Also please be patient while other Residents are unloading their vehicles of either trash or recycling.  It is never okay to pull up right behind them while they are unloading.  This is for the safety of everyone!  The transfer station brochure:  

 

 

explains how the traffic needs to wait at the designated stop signs until the resident in front is back in their vehicle and ready to pull forward.  Thank you for your help and understanding!
