Message for Lyme Residents and Voters

Lyme residents and voters—  The Supervisors of the Checklist have mailed letters to a number of Lyme voters.  If you receive the letter, please read it carefully.  It means that you have not voted in the past four years and you must now re-register to vote.  This is mandated by state  law.  To complete a new registration form, you may either come to the Town Clerk’s Office during regular office hours or go to a meeting of the Supervisors on July 29th.  This is all intended to remove from the Checklist people who no longer live in Lyme but have not told us of their move from town.  All eligible residents of Lyme have a right to vote.  If you receive the letter, please take the necessary action to ensure that you remain on the checklist.  We all thank you for your help in protecting our voting system.
